Counseling for Women & Mothers

Perinatal Mental Health Therapy in Illinois and Michigan

Welcome to Mae, where emotional well-being, healing, and meaningful connection are at the heart of care.

Life can be deeply meaningful and incredibly overwhelming at the same time. Many people find themselves carrying so much — caring for others, navigating relationships, managing work and family responsibilities, coping with anxiety or grief, and trying to hold onto a sense of self in the process. It’s easy to feel exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of where you fit in all the noise.

At Mae, you’ll find a space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, infertility, IVF, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, reproductive loss, grief, or major life transitions, Mae offers a place to feel heard and supported without judgment.

Mae Counseling Services provides inclusive, evidence-based care that honors each client’s unique identity. While much of our work centers women’s mental health and motherhood, we welcome clients of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, and family structures.

Together, we’ll focus on helping you find balance, clarity, resilience, and compassion for yourself — because you deserve specialized, thoughtful care that supports both your emotional well-being and overall functioning.
